This trail race follows the Catskill Scenic Trail along an old railroad bed through the scenic Catskill Mountains. Register at www.runwildinthecatskills.com
The race is a full half-marathon, but also offers a relay category for people that want to share the experience with friends. It follows the Catskill Scenic Trail from Bloomville to Stamford, NY. The trails surface is all grass or cinders (except when crossing roads). The race is point to point so you see a lot of countryside in a gorgeous setting! The post race party includes music, chicken BBQ, vendors at a health and wellness expo and fireworks that night. All finishers in both the full distance and the relay receive a finishers medal.
